I don’t think the bow is heavy in comparison to other aluminum bows. My only dislike may be the cam stops are louder than previous bows I've shot. I feel they are produced from a denser rubber. I put a small piece of mole skin within the limb with the Get hold of issue and it fixed it completely. I highly suggest the bow.Xpedition bows are Swiss
